In 2007 while still living in Brisbane, Australia, Ferdinand went online to look for property to buy in Kenya. He proceeded to visit existing website that listed property in Kenya. To his surprise, he immediately encountered unstructured websites that had invalid content. The websites were also not user friendly or easy to navigate. The websites he visited were not structured properly and often the content was outdated and inaccurate. It was not surprising to visit a website that purported to sell primarily real estate only to find that instead they listed cars and house goods for sale. •Some websites populated their platform with ‘adds by google’ which made the website look very unprofessional. As if that was enough •Links the local real estate industry to Kenyans/East Africans in Diaspora. … •Promotes estate agents who have no knowledge or resources to start a website or capitalize on the benefits of ICT. •Gives individual users opportunity to be sought out by estate agents via ‘wanted property link’ •Has facilitated structured website content that meet customer needs
